CHICAGO — The Los Angeles Angels have recalled right-hander Sean O'Sullivan from Triple-A Salt Lake and started him Wednesday night against the Chicago White Sox.
O'Sullivan, who is beginning his fourth stint with the Angels this season, is 3-0 with a 3.72 ERA in his rookie year. He last pitched July 28, when he threw a no-hitter for Salt Lake against Sacramento.
Infielder Sean Rodriguez was optioned to Triple-A to make room for O'Sullivan. Rodriguez was batting .200 with two homers and four RBIs in 12 games with Los Angeles.
