OGDEN — With two outs in the ninth, Jeremy Wise hit a walk-off three-run homer to cap off a huge late-innings comeback and give the Raptors the 7-6 win over the visiting Casper Ghosts.
Trailing 6-0, Kyle Orr got the rally started with a two-run double in the eighth. After Blake Smith singled in Avery Barnes a batter later, Orr scored on a wild pitch to cut the Casper lead to 6-4.
Austin Yount picked up a one-out walk and Brian Cavazos-Galvez smacked a single in the ninth to set-up Wise's home-run heroics.
Nick Gaudi struck out the side in the top of the ninth to clinch the win for the Raptors.
OWLZ 7, CHUKARS 6: In Orem, Richard Cates scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 11th when he attempted to steal second and made it all the way home after two throwing errors by the Chukars. Jon Karcich lead Orem with a pair of RBIs, while Terrell Alliman, Dillon Baird and Richard Cates each contributed two hits on the night.
