Course description: This well-kept desert course is quite flat with three lakes on the original nine and none on the new nine. The newer nine, built seven years ago, go completely around the outside of the original nine and have more challenging holes. The course is very walkable, with just a couple of long stretches between a couple of holes on the back. The greens on the front nine are quite large, but are smaller and more undulated on the newer, back nine.

Fun fact: The original course in Delta was designed by PGA legend Billy Casper and sat on the other side of town on the road to Hinckley. However, a flood in 1983 literally wiped out the course, necessitating the building of the Sunset View course.

Holes to remember: On the front nine, No. 8 is a pretty par 3 with a lake along the right side with bunkers on the left side. The par-3 12th is an uphill par 3 with a blind green shaped sort of like Africa with a bunker in the left front. No. 18 is a challenging par 5 that can stretch to nearly 600 yards from the back tees. The dogleg left has fairway bunkers on each side and another bunker fronting the large green.
