Sean O'Sullivan authored the first nine inning no-hitter in Salt Lake franchise history, as the Bees blanked the Sacramento River Cats 2-0 on Tuesday night at Raley Field.

O'Sullivan, who improved to 6-3 on the year, retired the first 18 batters he faced before issuing a leadoff walk to Cliff Pennington in the seventh. He would be the only River Cat to reach base, as O'Sullivan retired the final nine batters he faced. In the ninth, he got Anthony Recker to ground out to shortstop Gary Patchett, struck out Yung Chi Chen swinging and finalized the no-hitter as he got Pennington to ground out to second baseman Sean Rodriguez, who made a sliding stop to his left and, from his knees, threw him out.

Brad Coon saved a hit with a diving catch in centerfield to rob Aaron Cunningham to end the fourth inning. Coon also provided the offense for the Bees, as he scored in the first inning on a single by Terry Evans and drove in Matt Brown with the second run on a single to center.
