PROVO — Police are looking for two men who they say robbed a hotel at gunpoint Monday night.
Around 9 p.m., two men entered the lobby of Days Inn, 1675 N. Freedom Blvd., with bandanas on their faces, said Provo Police Sgt. Mark Crosby.
One of the men demanded money from the cash register while the second man waited by the door. The female clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money then was told to go into a back room and lie down, which she did, Crosby said. She was not injured.
The two men then left the hotel.
The man who talked with the clerk is described as a Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and 165 pounds with black hair. The clerk said he was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and dark pants.
The man waiting by the door was white, in his mid 30s, around 200 pounds with short black hair, Crosby said. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with fluorescent yellow markings on front.
Anyone with information is asked to call Provo Police Dispatch at 801-852-6210 or 801-852-7220.
