HILL AIR FORCE BASE — This week, sirens, explosions and rising smoke shouldn't cause concern for residents in northern Utah.
It's all part of ongoing training at Hill Air Force Base.
Monday through Thursday, airmen will participate in an operational readiness exercise, which will teach them how to survive and act in real-world, wartime operations.
Some of the exercises will involve airmen wearing protective gear and gas masks, conducting self-aid and buddy care and practicing taking cover.
