Lightning flashes behind the LDS Church's new Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan Friday. On June 13, a lightning bolt struck the angel Moroni on top of the temple's spire, discoloring the statue. The angel should be safe this week as there's no lightning in the forecast — just warm days and lots of sunshine.
