HILL AIR FORCE BASE — This week, sirens, explosions and rising smoke shouldn't cause concern for residents in Davis County.
It's all part of ongoing training at Hill Air Force Base.
From July 27-30, airmen will participate in an operational readiness exercise, which will teach them how to survive and act in real-world, wartime operations.
Some of the exercises will involve airmen wearing protective gear and gas masks, conducting self-aid and buddy care and practicing taking cover.
DWR stocks Strawberry
Strawberry Reservoir lures thousands of people for its trout fishing, and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources wants to give fishermen a great catch on the line in the years to come. So the DWR has stocked the reservoir with half a million cutthroat trout.

20,000 Salt Lake County residents who volunteered during 2011 had their efforts valued at $20 million.
