'God's Feast' topic of worship service

United Church of Christ Sunday will feature the Rev. Kurt-Eugen Melchior speaking on "God's Feast" on Sunday, July 26, 10 a.m., worship service at Orem Community Church, 130 N. 400 East. Deseret Chamber to give free concert

The Deseret Chamber Singers will perform a free public concert on Wednesday, July 29, 7:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E. South Temple.

Forum to address Salt Lake's future

"Impressions of Utah and the Future of Planning in Salt Lake City" will be featured at the Sunday, July 26, 10 a.m. summer forum at the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake, 569 S. 1300 East. Go to www.slcuu.org for more details.

Summer festival set at St. Patrick Church

The St. Patrick Catholic Church will hold its annual summer festival on July 31, 5-10 p.m., and Aug. 1, 3-10 p.m., at 1058 W. 400 South.

There will be food, games, live entertainment, a raffle and prizes. The public is invited.

FAIR to hold annual conference Aug. 6, 7

The Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research will hold its 11th annual conference on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 6 and 7, at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy.

FAIR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing well-documented answers to questions about and criticisms of Mormon doctrine, belief and practice. While FAIR is an independent group not affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, its members are known for defending their LDS faith. Trappist monastery to host free retreat
