Saturday on TV

Kings (7 p.m., Ch. 5): In the final episode of this very-good-but-canceled series, Jack makes plans for his coronation — premature plans, as it turns out. No, it isn't always the network's fault when a show fails, but NBC misscheduled "Kings" into cancellation before it even premiered. Ah, well. At least the network aired all 13 episodes.

Bill Engvall Show (7 and 10 p.m., TBS): Bill is determined to find out what Susan told her friends about him.

Dirty Sexy Money (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Nick, Brian and Karen take a trip together; Simon is suspicious of Jeremy. (I really like this show, but absolutely nothing happened in last week's episodes. The family chauffeur was spinning tales for a tabloid reporter for the entire hour — and, as it turned out, none of them were true. Which was not only kind of weird, but more than a little bit annoying.)

Sunday on TV

Soccer (1 p.m., FSC): The finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup

Doctor Who (6 and 9 p.m., BBC America): Lady Christina de Souza joins the Doctor on a dangerous bus trip.

Big Brother 11 (7 p.m., Ch. 2): Still trapped in that house.

Merlin (7 p.m., Ch. 5): Merlin is forced to choose between saving a young Druid's life and protecting Arthur.

Drop Dead Diva (7 and 9 p.m., Lifetime): Jane is thrown in jail for contempt of court.

The Storm (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Ho, hum, another soap opera/disaster TV movie. In this one, one scientist (Treat Williams) tries to manipulate the weather, but his experiments result in conditions that could destroy the planet and its human inhabitants. Another scientist (James Van Der Beek) tries to stop it. And I think you can see where this is going. (Concludes Sunday, Aug. 2.)

Masterpiece Mystery! (8 p.m., Ch. 7): Miss Marple has to figure out if a man's death was murder before she figures out whodunit.

Army Wives (8 and 10 p.m., Lifetime): Frank and Denise try to work on their relationship.

The Skyjacker That Got Away (8 and 11 p.m., National Geographic): Modern forensics are used to try to figure out what happened to D.B. Cooper, who parachuted out of a jetliner in 1971 with $200,000.

True Blood (10 p.m., HBO): Sookie risks her life to locate Godric; a vampire from Bill's past reappears.

Entourage (11 p.m., HBO): Eric is nervous about Charlie's pilot.

Design Star (11 p.m., HGTV): The contestants split into two teams and have to redesign kitchens. If you missed it, Utahn NataLee Callahan, who had more than her share of troubles in the first episode, was the first contestant to be eliminated.

In Plain Sight (11 p.m., USA): Mary and Marshall realize they may be hiding a witness from the government.
