Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles is on vocal rest after canceling two shows over the weekend.
In a video message to fans posted on the duo's Web site, Nettles said she has been dealing with voice problems since January. She says she "blew her voice" from the combination of singing in the studio and on the road.
Sugarland canceled their Saturday appearance with Kenny Chesney in San Francisco and their Sunday concert with Keith Urban in Los Angeles.
The duo, which also includes guitarist Kristian Bush, are scheduled to perform Thursday at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
