Utah Utes football: Utes get commitment from Texas prep

Utah has picked up its 11th recruiting commitment for 2010. Matt Anderson, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back/linebacker from Industrial High School in Vanderbilt, Texas, plans to make it official in February by signing a letter of intent with the Utes. Anderson rushed for 1,601 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior.

Utah's 10 other early commits include wide receiver Dres Anderson (Riverside, Calif.), quarterback Brian Blechen (Moorpark, Calif.), running back Princeton Collins (Round Rock, Texas), linebacker Jacoby Hale (Beaumont, Texas), running back Josh Huff (Aldine, Texas), defensive end Joe Kruger (Timpanogos High School), athlete Darian Lazard (Pearland, Texas), defensive back Terrell Reese (Brenham, Texas), wide receiver Kenneth Scott (Ontario, Calif.) and athlete Joseph Smith (Norco, Calif.).
