10 beauty and fashion tips
1. Get glowing skin
Dry, neglected skin can look dull and tired. A mild exfoliating product, used twice a week, can revitalize your complexion by making your skin look brighter and feel smoother. It also removes dead skin cells and skin blockages and toxins.
2. Even tone = more youthful
Foundation can help you even out your skin tone and make you look more fresh and youthful. People with dry skin should opt for a liquid or cream foundation. If you have normal skin, opt for a cream to powder or liquid. People with oily skin should use powder.
3. Want fuller lips?
Use a lip liner and line slightly outside your lip line to enhance smaller lips. Fill in your lips with liner and add lipstick. Finish by adding gloss to the center of your bottom lip and arches of your top lips.
4. Matte eye shadows always work best
Shadows with shimmer will draw attention to your fine lines and wrinkles and can also accentuate a tired eye. Matte shadows work to create depth.
5. Facial slimming
Apply a matte bronzer underneath your cheekbone and around your jaw line. Use blush on your cheekbone and apply a highlighter on your upper cheek bone and above your eyebrow for a natural lift.
6. Your hemline matters
Pay attention to where your skirt, sleeve and capri hemlines end. Make sure they don't hit at the fullest part of your arms or legs. This will draw attention to your widest parts and will make them look even fuller. Make sure hems fall above or below your widest extremity.
7. Use sunless tanner
A bright, white leg will command attention, while a more tan leg is less noticeable. Cellulite can even be camouflaged with a sunless tanner. Remember to apply evenly and wash your hands.
8. Pocket placement can create an illusion
How your pocket looks on your denim jeans can help hide a wide bottom or enhance a flat bottom. If you have a flat bottom, opt for pockets that sit higher on your bottom and have a lot of detail. If you have a wide bottom, opt for pockets that are closer together, while women with a full bottom should avoid pockets with a lot of detail. Also, boot-cut jeans are the most flattering to all figure types.
9. A small purse makes you look bigger
If you are full-figured, opt for a larger purse. A smaller purse will actually make you look bigger than you are. Choose a purse that is slightly larger than your proportions.
10. V-neck is best
A V-neck helps to open up your face and can make a round or full face look smaller. Crew necks are the least flattering and can make your face appear even fuller than it is.
