The Heat, yahoo.com reported late Wednesday night from the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, "are working furiously to deliver" on-the-trade-block Jazz power forward Carlos Boozer to Miami.
Yahoo cited an unidentified "league executive with knowledge of the talks" as saying Miami has "hatched a three-way proposal."
Basics of the potential deal, according to the Web site: Miami sends Udonis Haslem and Dorell Wright to Utah, Utah moves Wright's $2.8 million salary to Memphis and saves about $5.6 million in payroll and luxury-tax payments, and Memphis likely gets cash and draft picks.
Said Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor on Wednesday night: "Everybody asks are you gonna trade (Boozer), and our response is, 'If we can improve our team we'd consider a lot of things.' "
