A man has pleaded guilty in a fatal crash with a flower delivery van.

Police have said Jeris Christopher Oberle, 22, was driving drunk on April 11 when he crossed the center line and hit a van driven by 72-year-old Robert Howard, who was killed.

On Friday, Oberle pleaded guilty to third-degree felony automobile homicide. Two misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

Oberle faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 28 in 3rd District Court.
