"It's for real," Jordan Crawford said Wednesday in a telephone interview.

The Xavier University guard — who attended Detroit Communication Media Arts — put down a two-handed jam over LeBron James in a pickup game Monday night at James' Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio.

Crawford wasn't surprised — "Nah, I've done it before" — but James apparently was: "Yeah, I think he was. That's probably why I got it off on him, because he didn't think I was going to dunk him."

And James' reaction? "I don't think he really had a reaction," Crawford said. "I wasn't too concerned about his reaction."

Well, one witness said James' reaction was to call over a Nike guy, who coincidentally went around collecting tapes from anybody who might have recorded the play — which only fanned the Internet flames.
