Two West Valley men were charged in 3rd District Court Tuesday after two separate incidents in which they were seen masturbating in public.
The first incident happened on June 25, when a Salt Lake County detective saw Juan G. Zavala, 35, "masturbating while sitting in his parked vehicle at Hunter Park (3600 S. 6000 West), in front of approximately 60 to 70 school-aged children who were at the park," the charges said.
The second incident was on June 27, when two women reported that they saw Luis A. Beltran-Ramirez, 49, near 5100 West and 3100 South, masturbating while staring at them and their three children, according to the charges.
Zavala and Beltran-Ramirez were both charged with lewdness involving a child, a class-A misdemeanor.
