Laurie Adair has joined the Salt Lake office of CB Richard Ellis. Adair will start her own team specializing in the leasing and sales of office properties throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Adair joined the company in 2005 where she was a member of a team in Las Vegas. She started her real estate career in 2003 with another company. Adair has 24 years of experience in accounting and office management.
Jennifer Christiansen and Cliff Hayden have joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Ogden, and Jennifer Hanson, Jeremy Holmes, Chris Boyd, Emily Romander and Amanda Webster have joined the office as the team JH Associates. Each agent will specialize in residential sales in Weber County.
Richard J. Doleshek has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Questar Corp. Doleshek succeeds Stephen E. Parks, who has elected to retire. Most recently, Doleshek served as executive vice president and CFO of another energy company in Houston. He began his career in 1980 as a reservoir and production engineer and later moved into energy banking.
John P. Sparano has been elected president-elect of the American Institute of Architects' Utah chapter. Sparano is principal architect at Sparano + Mooney Architecture.
Amy Rees Anderson, Jeremy Hanks and Timothy Hunt have been named trustees of the Utah Technology Council. Anderson serves as the chief executive officer of MediConnect Global Inc. Prior to MediConnect, she founded and managed several health-care technology ventures. Hanks is an entrepreneur currently working on his fourth startup company, 9aisle, which will develop virtual inventory software for retailers and suppliers. Prior to 9aisle, he spearheaded the development of numerous Internet software businesses. He was cofounder and CEO of Doba and still serves as its chairman, and he founded GearTrade.com, where he was the company's president and CEO. Hunt is starting a new venture called Go Natural CNG in alternative fuel vehicles focusing on natural gas. He was most recently the general manager of North America for Certiport, was the founder and chairman of the board of Lingotek. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.
Ray Kelly has joined Certiport as president and chief executive officer, and Bart Boaden has been appointed senior vice president of global sales at the company. Kelly succeeds David Saedi. Before joining Certiport, Kelly was senior vice president of client services and sales at another company and has held executive positions at several others. Boaden has more than 25 years of experience in sales. Most recently, he was the vice president of worldwide sales for the Computing Technology Industry Association. Prior to that, Boaden held senior executive sales and management positions with three other companies.
Martha L. Hayes has been promoted to partner at Larson & Rosenberger. As a partner, Hayes will serve as quality control officer and help lead the development of the firm's specialties in insurance and nonprofit accounting. She joined the firm in 1995. Her education includes a degree from Westminster College.
Alan E. Hall has joined the board of directors of MediConnect Global Inc. Hall is the founder and chairman of MarketStar Corp. and the founder and chairman of Grow Utah Ventures. Hall recently established venture capital firm Mercato Partners.
