Churches celebrate 500th anniversary of Calvin's birth

Friday, July 10 was the 500th anniversary of Protestant reformer John Calvin's birth. An article by Eric Young from the Christian Post interviewed the president of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, Clifton Kirkpatrick, and general secretary Setri Nyomi. They told the Post that ¯Calvin certainly was not perfect, and it is against the grain of Reformed Christians to foster personality cults.¯
