ROCKIES 7, BRAVES 6: At Denver, pinch-hitter Garrett Atkins hit a two-out, two-run double in the eighth inning to lift Colorado to its fourth consecutive victory. Huston Street allowed a run-scoring groundout before getting the final out, picking up his 22nd save in 23 opportunities.

GIANTS 9, PADRES 3: At San Francisco, Tim Lincecum carried a no-hit bid into the seventh inning and won his fourth straight start. Lincecum (10-2) walked Evereth Cabrera to start the game and then Will Venable with two outs in the second. After that, he retired 13 straight and struck out the side in order in the sixth. Tony Gwynn broke up the bid when he singled to left leading off the seventh.

MARLINS 14, DIAMONDBACKS 7: At Phoenix, pinch-hitter Brett Carroll's three-run homer highlighted Florida's franchise-record 10-run outburst in the eighth inning, rallying the Marlins from a 7-4 deficit in a game that featured a total of 29 hits. Jose Cantu and Jeremy Hermida also homered.
