Loyalties have changed

I read with interest Chelsea Warren's article (July 4) on the young Hispanic LDS singles conference. As she attempts to glorify the Hispanic immigrants, she shows the problem. The United States is a country of immigrants. However, there is a huge difference. The immigrants who made this country great came to this country to be Americans. Their loyalties were to America, not to their homeland or their relatives in their country of origin.
