Eric Samuelsen (Readers' Forum, July 5) states it is scary to contemplate the fact that Sarah Palin could have been our next vice president with access to nuclear codes.
It is even more frightening to realize that Vice President Joe Biden now has that kind of access. Biden is either a liar or a very confused man ?— definitely not one to be trusted with nuclear codes.
He stated that Franklin Roosevelt, during the 1929 stock crash, went on television to address the nation. No television existed at that time.
He also stated that the United States and France kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon. That didn't happen; Hezbollah is still there.
During his acceptance speech he said he came from a working-class family. Untrue. Biden also claimed he graduated from the top half of his class in law school. He actually graduated near the bottom.
The reason liberals are ignorant of these facts is due to their listening primarily to the liberal mainstream media, which buries the defects of the leaders of the Democratic Party while magnifying the insignificant errors of Sarah Palin.
I shudder at the possibility of this confused and lying man being in charge of this nation and its nuclear codes.
