Science is not settled

The phrase "the science is settled" may be stated by a politician or activist but not by a true scientist. For anyone to claim that human-caused global warming is a fact and the matter is closed is to assert that they are smarter and more knowledgeable than any who came before and, indeed, than any who will come after.
