Color guards from the Troopers, of Casper, Wyo., perform during the Corps Encore competition at Weber State in Ogden Wednesday. The competition of six drum and bugle corps is one of dozens as corps tour the country this summer, but it's the only one in Utah. The Troopers' competitors are the Blue Knights, of Denver; Blue Devils, of Concord, Calif.; Santa Clara Vanguard, of Santa Clara, Calif.; Bluecoats, of Canton, Ohio; and Cascades, of Woodinville, Wash.
