Choir comments sincere

No doubt singers must be great musicians to be in the Tabernacle Choir. There are several musical exercises they must be able to do that require "talent, finesse and good intonation" (Readers' Forum, July 7) but they are not so exhilarating to the listener. The previous comments about holding those last notes "waaay tooo long" are sincere and not hostile and certainly not intended to offend. I imagine that singing in the choir would be enough, by itself, to feel "completely exhilarating and fulfilling."
