Warrens, a local family-owned drive-in restaurant, has opened a store at 1778 S. 1000 West in Syracuse. Warrens is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering cooked-to-order classic items such as the Blue Bacon Burger and Mt. Ogden Burger, as well as a salad bar.
Warrens was founded in the 1950s by retired Roy sheriff Doug Warren, who developed the business into three restaurants. Ten years later he sold the restaurants to Keith Combe, who expanded the menu.
In 2003, Keith's son-in-law, Kirk Dean, bought the business and combined with the Dylan's restaurants. Warrens now has five locations — Riverdale Road, Ogden, Kaysville, Roy and Syracuse.
