Morals eroding in U.S.

The adage "good name" (spotless reputation) was penned by one of life's great writers. He wrote that a good name is the immediate jewel of a person's soul. He further stated that its loss made a person poor indeed.

Obviously, in this day and age, possessing a good name no longer is considered as valuable as it was a few decades ago. Its mystical connotation has significantly eroded. From all appearances, this moral erosion of integrity seems to apply across the board throughout America.
