The Utah Highway Patrol has identified Charles L. Taylor, 56, as the motorcyclist killed Friday afternoon near Jeremy Ranch.

Taylor, of West Jordan, was driving on I-80 with a group of other motorcyclists when he was forced off the freeway by a car that "cut him off," officials from Summit County said.

A medical helicopter landed at a nearby rest stop and transported the man to the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was pronounced dead. Taylor was not wearing a helmet.
