Motorcyclist who died is identified

The Utah Highway Patrol has identified Charles L. Taylor, 56, as the motorcyclist killed Friday afternoon near Jeremy Ranch.

Taylor, of West Jordan, was driving on I-80 with a group of other motorcyclists when he was forced off the freeway by a car that "cut him off," officials from Summit County said.

A medical helicopter landed at a nearby rest stop and transported the man to the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was pronounced dead. Taylor was not wearing a helmet.
