The Jazz open summer-league play Monday night.

Rather than hosting the long-running Rocky Mountain Revue, however, they've taken their show on the road.

With the popular Revue the casualty for at least this year of a competing summer league in Las Vegas, the Jazz — whose summer squad has been training in Florida since last Wednesday — instead will play five games in the six-team, 15-game Orlando Pro Summer League in Maitland, Fla.

Play for Utah opens tonight vs. Boston, followed by games Tuesday vs. a combined New Jersey/Philadelphia entry, Wednesday against Indiana, Thursday vs. host Orlando and Friday morning vs. Oklahoma City.

The Jazz's roster includes only one player who was with the club last season, second-year big man Kosta Koufos.

Not taking part, even though the Jazz wanted him to and even though they exercised his contract option for next season, is center and 2007 second-round draft choice Kyrylo Fesenko, who instead is playing later this month with Ukraine's national team.

This year's two Jazz draft choices — first-rounder Eric Maynor of Virginia Commonwealth University and second-rounder Goran Suton — will play in Orlando.

Maynor, a point guard, has a guaranteed contract for at least the next two seasons; center Suton does not.

The Jazz's 14-man lineup also includes a local product, Utah State big man Gary Wilkinson; Jazz training-camp vet Kevin Lyde; Utah Flash players Andre Ingram and Kevin Kruger; two players with a bit of NBA experience, James Augustine (27 games over two seasons for Orlando) and Cedric Bozeman (23 games in one season for Atlanta); and a forward who is property of the Charlotte Bobcats, Derrick Brown — the Bobcats are not fielding a summer-league team this year for economic reasons, so the Jazz, as a favor, allowed Brown to join them in Orlando.

There is no radio or television coverage of the Jazz's summer games this year, but they will be streamed lived on the team's Web site.
