A Park City man has been charged with viewing child pornography as the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
Joe I. Mason, 23, faces 10 counts of second-degree felony sexual exploitation of a minor, the charge for possessing child pornography.
The investigation began after a tip from the Utah Attorney General's Office ICAC task force, said Summit County sheriff's detective Ronald Bridge. Authorities seized Mason's computer and had it analyzed at a forensics lab. Police believe the home computer was used to download child pornography.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and Mason turned himself Wednesday, Bridge said.
