COLORADO SPRINGS — The Salt Lake Bees took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third on a pair of doubles by Terry Evans and Brandon Wood, but it was enough as Colorado Springs pulled away for an 8-2 win Friday night.
The Sky Sox reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the third when Eric Young, Jr. scored on a bases-loaded fielder's choice grounder by Matt Murton.
Salt Lake gave up two more runs in the fourth inning and the Sky Sox finished things off with a three run rally in the bottom of the eighth to give Shane Loux the loss.
The Bees are back at Spring Mobile Ballpark tonight to face Tacoma.
