Hundreds of children and adults participated in Centerville's annual Independence Day celebration on Friday. The children's parade was part of the festivities. The parade's final destination was at Founders' Park where children's activities, a free concert and a fireworks display took place. Today's activities feature a breakfast at the park, a 5K and children's run, a parade on Main Street with a jet flyover, a Heritage Quilt display, an outdoor festival and a police auction. For a list of more Fourth of July activities throughout Utah, see page B6.
