I am confused about our legislators passing a law and yet certain city and county officials will not obey. SB81 went into effect July 1, yet certain law agencies refuse to enforce the law. How does that happen when other states have passed similar laws and they are being enforced? I am disgusted with law agencies who feel they are above what is required in SB81 and can choose if they enforce the law or not. I know it is a problem due to manpower and facilities, but to come out and throw this back in the face of our elected officials is downgrading.
It may be too late to do anything that will protect the future for our children and grandchildren the way our economy is heading. We may soon be a Third World country.
