S.L. cathedral celebrates 100 years

"A Century of Faith and Service, 1909-2009" will commemorate the centennial of the Catholic Cathedral of the Madeleine this August.

Son Rock Kids Camp sponsored in Lindon

'Live-in Experience' offered at monastery

Bible school to feature other cultures

Vacation bible School at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E. 3300 South, will be "Jesus Loves the Little Children, All The Little Children of the World," on Aug. 17-21, 9 a.m. to noon daily. It is free and open to the public.

Activities include crafts such as beading, sampling foods like fry bread, playing Native American games, singing songs and hearing stories. We will learn how closely Native American values of respecting creation, importance of family and elders, humility and prayer are related to Biblical values.
