Hogle Zoo's capuchin monkey Jocco dies
A capuchin monkey that some say may have been one of the world's oldest has died at Utah's Hogle Zoo.
Zoo spokeswoman Holly Braithwaite says Jocco died in his sleep on June 13. It's possible that Jocco, known for his cloudy eyes, mangy fur and largely hairless body, was 45 years old when he died.
However, Braithwaite says there is some dispute over his age because in the 1960s zoo keepers always called the dominant male of the troop by the same name, Jocco. That means there could have been more than one Jocco.
Braithwaite says Jocco was suffering from jaw cancer.
