BOUNTIFUL — Two of the three children injured within hours of each other in Bountiful in separate accidents Tuesday remained hospitalized Thursday, police said.

A 2-year-old boy was burned when a power line fell onto the swing set he was on. About an hour later, a 1-year-old boy was accidentally run over by a family member's vehicle. A few hours later, a 3-year-old girl was found in the bottom of a backyard pool. All three were taken to Primary Children's Medical Center.

Bountiful Police Sgt. Gary Koehn said he believes two of the three children are still in the hospital. "I don't have any official news, but I know the boy that was run over and the boy that was burned are still in the hospital," he said.

Koehn said the boy who was burned by the power line is believed to be in critical but stable condition and the girl who almost drowned may have been released from the hospital.

"I heard she's been doing well," Koehn said. "There's nothing official yet. I just know they're all alive."
