WEBER COUNTY — An Ogden man camping near the Causey Reservoir dam was found dead in his tent Thursday morning.

The 45-year-old man, two teenagers and another adult had pitched their tents in a remote area near the dam, about eight miles east of Huntsville. When the others woke up in the morning, they found the man dead. They immediately sought help. The Weber County Sheriff's Office suspects the man died of natural causes.

"There were no obvious signs of foul play or anything particularly unusual," said Weber County Sheriff's Sgt. Klint Anderson.

Even so, the sheriff's office is investigating the death. An autopsy will likely be conducted Friday morning, he said. A toxicology report won't be available for about a week, Anderson said.

The man's identity was not immediately released, pending notification of his family.
