2009 PCL All-Star closer Jeremy Hill held on for his team-high 17th save of the season, leading the Bees to a 7-6 victory in a division duel against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Wednesday night. The Bees improve to 3-1 over the Sky Sox this season. Salt Lake scored six runs in the first three innings and added one in the top of the ninth that was just enough. The win narrowed the Sky Sox's division lead to 4.5 games.

Howie Kendrick led the Bees with four hits while Reggie Willits, Brandon Wood, Bobby Wilson and Ben Johnson each had two hits on the night. Bobby Mosebach earned his second Triple-A career win.

The Bees placed infielder Matt Brown on the disabled list Wednesday with left elbow inflammation.

Brown, 26, has appeared in 68 games hitting .216 with 16 doubles, 10 home runs and 44 RBI.
