The Pacific Coast League announced Wednesday that Salt Lake Bees outfielder Terry Evans, right-handed pitcher Jeremy Hill and infielder Brandon Wood have been named to the 2009 PCL All-Star Team. All three players will suit up for the 22nd annual Triple-A All-Star Game, slated for July 15 at PGE Park in Portland, Ore., when the PCL squad takes on the International League All-Stars. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. (PT) and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

This year will mark the 12th showdown under the current IL vs. PCL format, as the first 10 contests pitted All-Stars selected from National League affiliates against those from the American League. The PCL owns a 6-5 advantage of the IL in the overall series. Additional information about the Triple-A All-Star Game and its festivities can be found on the official Web sites of the Pacific Coast League (www.pclbaseball.com), the International League (www.ilbaseball.com), and the Portland Beavers (www.portlandbeavers.com).
