CENTERVILLE — Three Centerville residents have declared themselves as candidates for office in the city.

Centerville Mayor Ron Russell is running for another term as mayor. As of now, he doesn't have an opponent, though Wednesday was the first day of filings.

Two residents have filed as candidates for City Council: Justin Allen, who is an incumbent, and John Galley. The seat held by Sherri Lyn Lindstrom is also up for election this year.

For information on how to file as a candidate in Centerville, call 801-295-3477 or visit www.centervilleut.net.

The filing period ends July 15.
