BOUNTIFUL — A 3-year-old girl was flown to a hospital in critical condition Tuesday after she was found at the bottom of a backyard pool.
The girl was participating in a pool party just after 9 p.m. when people at the party noticed she was at the bottom of the pool, Bountiful Police Sgt. Gary Koehn said.
The girl was pulled from the pool at the home near 1000 East and 250 South, and authorities performed CPR until a medical helicopter arrived, according to Koehn.
"They were able to get her breathing again," Koehn said.
The girl was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center in critical condition.
