Lugano, 3364 S. 2300 East, presents "A Summer Evening in Piemonte" dinner July 18, 7 p.m., $39 per person; $35 more for optional wine pairing. Lugano also offers weekly specials of Meatball Mondays, Tortelli Tuesdays and Wood Oven Wednesdays.

Two Whole Foods Markets are donating a percentage of the day's sales on July 2 to nonprofit organizations. Whole Foods Cottonwood Heights will give 5 percent of sales to No More Homeless Pets in Utah, and Whole Foods Sugar House will donate to Salt Lake CAP Head Start Community Garden for low-income families.

Market Street Fish Markets are hosting a lobster sale July 3, 4 and 5. Cooked or live Maine Lobsters will be $9.99 each. Regular price is $18 each (www.ginc.com).

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse at the Gateway is offering an Alaskan King Crab special of $99 for two people. It includes either 1½ pounds Alaskan King Crab, or filet mignon and ¾ pounds of Alaskan King Crab, plus salad and dessert (801-355-3704).

The New Yorker, 60 W. Market St., is offering a fixed price two-course lunch for $14 and a three-course dinner for $28. The lunch is a choice of soup, salad or dessert, and a choice of entrees such as a chopped chicken breast salad, a New York steak sandwich or chicken breast marsala. The dinner entrees are filet mignon, filet of sole, shrimp, clams and mussels, or pork loin chop Milanese (801-363-0166).

The Sonic Drive-Increw at 7025 S. Highland Drive is one of 300 stores in the running for the company's National Finals of the Dr. Pepper Sonic Games. The games recognize the best Sonic Drive-Ins in the country, testing crew members in the categories food delivery, drink preparation, service delivery and food preparation. More than 2,600 Sonic Drive-Ins began the contest in January (www.sonicdrivein.com).

Bambara, 202 S. Main, is offering a three-course "Powers Lunch" for $13 and a "3 for $33" dinner special. Designed by executive chef Nathan Powers, The Powers Lunch includes salad, a choice of four entrees and a house-made cookie. Harmons Grocery stores awarded 13 Utah fathers with a $250 barbecue grill and Black Angus rib-eye steaks for it's "My Dad Deserves Steak" Father's Day Contest. They were Rolando Quinata, James Rochell, Travis Mansfield, Brian Pilcher, John Slade, Greg Parrish, Garry Otterson Sr., Brian Roundy, Noal Bolliger, Dan Marten, Dale Esplin, Corey Zander and Albert Warner.

Jason's Delirecently overhauled its children's menu and reduced sodium levels by 21 percent, saturated fat by 20 percent and calories by 10 percent. By Aug. 1, the children's menu and salad bar will have no ingredients with artificial colors or dyes.
