Granite High School open house is Friday

Granite High School will hold an open house from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the school, 3305 S. 500 East.

The public is invited to tour the alumni room on the second floor. Wheelchair access is available. The room is full of yearbooks, pictures, trophies, school sweaters and other memorabilia from the school's 103-year history. The Granite School District permanently closed the school last month.

Other activities include:

Yearbooks, school memorabilia and "Forever Farmer" T-shirts for sale.

Free library books.

Sit and visit with alumni.

Free concert from Granite alumni Ron Hadley in the school's auditorium.

The singing of "The Song of the G" led by Granite District board member Connie Anderson at the top of every hour in the school gym.
