A truck that was loaded with concrete rolled over after reportedly traveling too fast on Interstate 84 Monday morning.

The truck was heading east on I-84 en route to a job site in Croydon about 7:30 a.m. when the driver tried to negotiate a curve but was unable to keep the vehicle on the road, said UHP spokesman Cameron Roden. The speed and the turn shifted the concrete load inside the truck, causing the vehicle to roll off the highway and down to a road near the Taggart Lane offramp.

The driver, a 43-year-old Ogden man, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Ogden Regional Medical Center as a precaution, Roden said.
