Obama no Marxist

In response to a recent letter claiming that President Barack Obama is a Marxist, a socialist and a communist, does this writer even know what these terms mean? Communism and socialism are two different political systems. Given that Karl Marx is the father of both, isn't it redundant to refer to someone as a "Marxist socialist"?

Regardless, Obama most certainly is not a Marxist. Having a different opinion on how to make our country a better place does not make one a criminal.
