PROVO — The illustrator of the popular Lemony Snicket books will be one of six nationally known authors and illustrators featured at BYU's 22nd annual Symposium on Books for Young Readers July 16-17.
Brett Helquist, a BYU graduate who has illustrated all 13 titles in "A Series of Unfortunate Events," will be joined by several Newbery and Caldecott winners in the two-day symposium for librarians, teachers, parents and anyone who enjoys children's literature.

Authors who will participate in the symposium include Susan Campbell Bartoletti, Gennifer Choldenko, Jessica Day George, Linda Sue Park and Jerry Pinkney.
