Former Florida wrestling champ on LDS mission to Russia
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Former state high school wrestling champion Trey Dunn is grappling
with the intricacies of the Russian language as he begins a two-year
Mormon mission assignment. Dunn
is a member of the Lehigh Acres ward in Florida of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. His church asks members to spend time as
missionaries, but it is not required.\"This
is the only thing I ever planned on in my life,\" Dunn said from Provo,
Utah, where he'll spend 10 weeks learning Russian and the details of
mission work. \"I felt like it was a really good way to serve.\"
