Bell ringers to play at Christ United

The Wesley Bell Ringers have returned from a tour of the Pacific Northwest and Canada. They will perform at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E. 3300 South, in a free concert on Sunday, June 28, 7:30 p.m.

Christian musicians to perform July 2

Brandon Heath, with special guest Josh Rosenthal, will be in concert on Thursday, July 2, 7 p.m., at Calvary Chapel, 460 W. Century Drive.

Heath, a Christian musician, is a multiple Dove award winner. General admission tickets are $13.50 in advance, or $15 at the door.

Church talk Sunday on 'Healing Powers'

The Rev. Daniel Haas will speak on "Healing Powers" at 10 a.m. worship service at Orem Community Church, 130 N. 400 East, on Sunday, June 28.

Service of lament about SB81 Tuesday

The public is welcome at an interfaith service of lament for SB81 on Tuesday, June 30, 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1070 S. Foothill Drive.

Readings from scripture, prayers and reflections will be offered for the brokenness of community, symbolized by SB81, an omnibus anti-immigration bill, which goes into law July 1.Go to www.zelc.org for more details.

St. Olaf School marking 50th year

St. Olaf Catholic School in Bountiful will celebrate its 50th year in 2010 and is seeking to contact past students, so they can join in the anniversary celebrations.
