SOUTH SALT LAKE — When words weren't enough, police say a woman unleashed her dogs to do the fighting.
An argument between two women at 350 E. 3050 South turned violent about 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to South Salt Lake police. A 20-year-old woman unleashed her two put bills and ordered them to attack the other woman. The dog owner's boyfriend joined the fray, hitting the victim across the back and legs with a metal bed rail, police said.
The victim received minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital. The 20-year-old woman and her 20-year-old boyfriend were booked into Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of aggravated assault.
South Salt Lake Animal Services is holding the two pit bulls on a 10-day quarantine while the Salt Lake District Attorney's Office reviews the case.
