Thank you, Ralph Pierce ("Notes held too long," Readers' Forum, June 23). I was beginning to think I was the only one in the valley who found the loooong, drawn-out last note of some of the Tabernacle Choir's songs unappealing and irritating. I am not a musician, only an appreciator of great music. I have always been a fan of the choir, but in my opinion, this new trend in their music adds nothing to the beauty of the music nor the excellence of the performance.
